The flavours of the Rhuys peninsula await you in Sarzeau's main square. Isabelle and Guy cultivate the art of hospitality in their beautiful period house.


Nestling in the heart of Sarzeau, the Lesage hotel and restaurant is a veritable institution. Housed in a magnificent 17th-century residence, this establishment invites you to savour seasonal French cuisine with the Maitre Restaurateur label. With a location and a menu set between land and sea, the cuisine is gastronomic and inspired by the French overseas territories, showcasing old-fashioned vegetables and aromatic herbs.


Here, only local produce is used, sourced directly from local farmers and market gardeners. This locavore approach is favoured for the sake of proximity and the fight against waste. Beyond its refined cuisine, this exceptional place combines the charm of the past with contemporary design.

Opening times: 

From 12pm until the end of the service and from 7pm until the end of the service.
The restaurant is closed all day on Sundays and Mondays.

An exclusive culinary experience

where each dish becomes a real work of art

In the refined setting of the dining room, with its exposed stonework and old-fashioned beams, the crackling of the fireplace in winter and the pleasure of the terrace in summer, come and savour a cuisine based on fresh produce from Brittany.


It's not for nothing that the restaurant has been awarded the demanding "Master Restaurateur ! Here, the menu changes with the seasons and market produce.

Guy Mariel and his team invite you to discover: seafood platters, Breton lobsters of course, oysters, vegetables and cheeses from the peninsula and the Gulf, langoustines from Guilvinec, melons and strawberries from Sarzeau, cider from Surzur... The desserts, mille-feuille with strawberries from the peninsula, chocolate cream praline mille-feuille, crunchy strawberry shortbread with tonka cream, bring the meal to a sweet end!
