Sarzeau
Popular for its fine sandy beaches, SARZEAU offers a number of must-see sites, including: the village, the church of Saint Saturnin and its Marie Suzanne bell, the Ruaud, Benance and Penvins headlands with their nature reserve, the egg island, Port Saint Jacques, the Duer marsh, hiking trails including the famous GR34, cycle paths and beaches (Penvins, Landrezac, Saint Jacques and Suscinio).
Domaine de Suscinio
Open every day all year round, the SUSCINIO CASTLE is a must for the Gulf of Morbihan and Brittany. 800 years of history await you in a breathtaking setting: With its curtain walls, parapet walk, sleeping bridge, loopholes, machicolations, ramparts and parkland rich in biodiversity, the estate is an extraordinary testimony to the life of the Dukes of Brittany.
Suscinio cheese farm
The Suscinio cheese farm has been producing the famous Rhuys tome for 25 years. It's the ideal place to find out how cheese is made, take a walk or cycle around the château, watch the cows being milked, sample artisan cheese boards, dine on the farm and meet the animals. It's a little corner of paradise that delights young and old alike.
Château de Kerlevenan and its grounds
Le KERLEVENAN castle is surrounded by wooded parkland, accessible by guided tour only. The guided tour stretches around the château, including the former stables, the Chinese pavilion and the Temple of Love, which has been converted into a chapel. Built in the 18th century by the Marquis de Gouvello, the château and its grounds have been listed since 1965. Open in summer (except for groups in spring, on request).
Saint Gildas de Rhuys
Nestling on one of the highest points of the Rhuys peninsula, Saint Gildas de Rhuys is a wild land of inspiration and a city of art, seduced by its authenticity and gentle way of life.
