At the heart of Sarzeau on the Rhuys Peninsula

All the flavours of the Rhuys Peninsula await you in the main square of Sarzeau, where Isabelle and Guy cultivate the art of hospitality in their beautiful 17th century home. From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice how the restaurant offers abundant personality and charm. The exposed stone and beams, the fireplace that crackles in the winter, the contemporary leather chairs and the colourful paintings on display all combine to produce an elegant setting where guests feel right at home. This authentic restaurant will take you on a journey of discovery, allowing you to explore our gastronomy of land and sea, prepared with the best seasonal produce.

The flavours and colours of Brittany

Within the elegant setting of the dining room with its exposed stone walls, its traditional beams, the crackling fireplace in winter and the lovely terrace in summer, come and savour cuisine built from fresh Breton produce.

There is a reason that the restaurant has received the exacting seal of “Maître Restaurateur”! The menu changes according to seasonal and market availability. Guy Mariel and his team invite you to discover a range of indulgent food and drink, including seafood platters, Breton lobster, oysters, vegetables and cheeses from across the peninsula and gulf, Guilvinec langoustines, Sarzeau melons and strawberries, and Surzur cider. And for dessert, sample such delights as the mille-feuille made with strawberries from the peninsula, the chocolate mille-feuille with praline cream or the crispy strawberry and tonka shortcake.
